Academic advice - Work hard to get some kind of assistance with good application credits, you would like to graduate from NCSU.

I took Exams - GRE and TOEFL. Preparation - Jeeva's Coaching centre. Visa - F 1 student, visa interview was well prepared and answered. Tickets - took with the assistance of an agent. Flight - took Air India. Experience - not so great. I didn't get any student fare. Flew from India to Chicago, then to Raleigh where the University is located. Baggage rules - 1 cabin bag, 3 of 23kgs luggage's allowed. I didn't face any immigration issues. Indian association "Maitri" members picked me up from airport.

TA/RA - no clue as it's hard to get it with so much competition for it.

Great to be here, professors are good, there is always a scope for improvement. Lecture Halls - nice. Library - too good.

I'm staying in off-campus apartment. Full sports facilities. Place I live is no harm and cool, but always need to b careful. Night life is socialable. Weather is unusual.

There is placement cell,campus placement process and Work permit process.There is no alumni society as such I know.
