It will be a good place if you actually like and love the new change. All you need to do is get adjust to a new world of study.
GRE and TOEFL are required admission into this university. I prepared on my own for these exams. Students can easily prepare for these exams. Visa processing was done by my consultant. Visa is required to study here. I attended visa interview in the consulate and the interview was very formal. Tickets to destination are easy but I needed to change two flights in between. I came through Indian Airlines. They offered me student concession. They charged me for my excess baggage. I did not face any immigration issues at the airport.
University does offer assistantships to students.
This program will be good if students have interest in this field. Professors were good. Lecture halls were big. Library was big and has good collection of books.
They have sports facilities. There is International Center which provides services to students. Student services also offers guidance to students. Students can easily get part time jobs. Students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week.
International students can easily get jobs once they finish their studies. Students apply for their H1B once they complete or the employer applies on behalf.
